Mission Overview
Comprehensive details about the KOMPSAT-7 mission and its capabilities.
KOMPSAT-7 is conceived as an ultra-high-resolution optical Earth observation satellite, following on from KOMPSAT-3A. Equipped with the AEISS-HR high-resolution imaging system, it is expected to capture panchromatic imagery at ~0.3 m resolution and multispectral imagery at ~1.2 m.
The satellite will operate in sun-synchronous low Earth orbit (~685 km altitude) and assist in land monitoring, agricultural mapping, disaster response, and environmental surveillance.
